Alex is a South Carolina native and currently calls Greenville home. She completed her Master’s degree with Liberty University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to that, she attended Clemson University and received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She completed her clinical internship under Moment's founder, Dr. Brittany Rudy, where she trained in evidence-based treatment methods such as ERP, ACT, and CBT. She works with clients of all ages with a wide variety of concerns such as OCD, anxiety disorders, hoarding, phobias, etc. She also enjoys working with children and adults struggling with grief and loss and needing support through terminal or chronic illnesses. Alex is very passionate about incorporating Christian or faith-based aspects into the counseling experience, when preferred. She strives to provide a non-judgmental, safe space that facilitates growth for her clients. Outside of the office, Alex enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and attending Clemson tailgates with her family.
