Lindsey, originally from Williamsburg, Virginia, earned her M.Ed./Ed.S. degrees at Clemson University, studying Counselor Education with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before moving to the Greenville area to complete her master’s degree, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina, majoring in Psychology and receiving a minor in Education. Lindsey acquired training in Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) for treating OCD and anxiety disorders through a specialized internship under OCD/ERP expert, Dr. Brittany Rudy. She also completed intensive ERP training through UPenn's Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety with concentrations in both adults and pediatrics. In addition to ERP, Lindsey utilizes techniques based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and related practices in treatment. Lindsey is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults with OCD and other significant anxiety disorders. She strives to create a safe and supportive atmosphere to facilitate change and growth. She recognizes that each individual’s needs are different and aims to work collaboratively to find the best path for her clients.
